About the Role

In this exciting opportunity, you will work as an Associate Quality Assurance and Efile Analyst, playing a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for testing software by creating various scenarios through locators and generating output in XML. You will also provide support to US developers on support calls by assisting with heat cases.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Testing software on various releases in maintenance and production phases
  • Working on regression testing manually
  • Regularly keeping the software up to date with quality for each of the builds scheduled
  • Working on getting product approval for release to production by passing ATS scenarios with the US Government
  • Working in a pressure-oriented atmosphere and handling multiple tasks
  • Meeting deadlines and reporting to seniors and team leads

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in quality assurance, with experience in testing software and working with XML and XSD schemas. You should also be proficient in US Tax technical knowledge and have a graduate or postgraduate degree in any field.

Key qualifications include:

  • Experience in quality assurance of Go system/UltraTax product in terms of e-file
  • Proficiency in US Tax technicals (in any US Taxation Forms)
  • Graduate or postgraduate degree in any field
  • Ability to use mapping techniques to generate output in XML
  • Ability to analyze data in locators/scenarios for correctness of software and review functional test plans
