Job Overview:

The role of a Team Leader entails overseeing the daily operations of a team, encompassing tasks such as work and attendance monitoring in accordance with organizational policies and relevant legal requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To provide effective coaching to team members, enabling them to consistently deliver high-quality results
  • To identify performance-related issues, develop a plan for improvement, and implement corrective actions
  • To ensure that services provided to customers meet contractual Key Performance Indicator (KPIs) and financial expectations
  • To communicate expectations to employees and provide timely updates
  • To conduct regular team meetings to facilitate expedient communication of relevant information and schedule team activities
  • To stay up-to-date on internal work processes, policies, and procedures. To attend required management development training
  • To exercise independent judgment and discretion in performing main functions to implement management policies
  • To support and manage programs together with other Team Leaders and Managers
  • To provide input for selecting, training, developing, and completing performance appraisals of work groups in accordance with organizational policies and applicable legal requirements
  • To manage team members on a regular basis and write and deliver performance appraisals

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Highly motivated individuals with skills to develop and coach team members to achieve performance expectations
  • Ability to work well under pressure and follow through on items to completion
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to lead team members, multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines for deliverables
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and provide direction to team members

Preferred Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Team Leader in an international BPO environment
