Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and visionary Cloud Architect to design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will play a key role in shaping our infrastructure strategy, ensuring high availability and security while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architecture Design : Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure solutions on GCP that align with best practices and meet the needs of our applications and services.

- Strategy Development : Develop and maintain cloud strategies that optimize deployment processes, enhance automation, and improve system performance.

- Collaboration & Leadership : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, operations, and security, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions.

- Best Practices Implementation : Advocate for and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to ensure reproducible and version-controlled infrastructure.

- Monitoring & Optimization : Establish monitoring and logging frameworks to ensure visibility into system performance, enabling proactive identification and resolution of issues.

- Security & Compliance : Implement security best practices to safeguard our infrastructure and data, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

- Mentorship : Provide guidance and mentorship to cloud engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Requirements :

- 8-12 years of experience as a cloud engineer with team lead experience of 3+ years.

- Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar role, with a strong background in cloud architecture and cloud practices.

- Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Storage.

- In-depth knowledge of container orchestration using Kubernetes and containerization technologies like Docker.

- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.

- Strong understanding of networking concepts, security protocols, and best practices.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills.
