Aerial Data Collector

This is a field operations role that supports a government project in the energy sector.

Your primary responsibility will be to operate AI-powered drones to capture high-quality aerial data of electrical infrastructure such as poles, transformers, and other assets.

This role is critical in ensuring accurate digital mapping and inspection, contributing to the development and efficiency of the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Collection: Operate drones to capture images/videos of poles, transformers, and other assigned infrastructure, ensuring accurate data collection and timely submission of captured files.
  • Maintenance: Maintain drones, batteries, and related equipment in proper working condition, guaranteeing optimal performance during operations.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with field teams to identify areas requiring drone mapping, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Experience: Prior experience as a Drone Pilot or knowledge of drone handling, preferably with a valid drone flying license/Remote Pilot Certificate (if required by regulations).
  • Familiarity: Familiarity with drone hardware, batteries, and basic troubleshooting, ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to capture clear, precise images, showcasing excellent visual acuity.
  • Travel and Adaptability: Ability to work in field locations and travel as per project needs, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Computer Skills: Comfortable using and handling computer systems (laptops), ensuring efficient data management and processing.
