Overview

We are seeking a skilled data professional to design, develop and maintain robust data pipelines and solutions using Oracle database technologies.

The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient data integration and transformation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows using Oracle database technologies
  • Develop ETL processes to extract, transform and load data from multiple sources into Oracle databases and data warehouses
  • Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures and PL/SQL code for performance and scalability
  • Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Implement data quality checks, monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure data integrity
  • Support data migration, replication and synchronization tasks
  • Work with big data tools and cloud platforms as needed for data integration
  • Automate routine data engineering tasks using scripting languages
  • Document data processes, data models and technical specifications
  • Ensure adherence to data governance and security policies
Required Skills:
  • 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle database technologies (Oracle 11g, 12c, 19c, etc.)
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL and performance tuning
  • Experience with ETL tools such as Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Informatica or similar
  • Familiarity with data modeling concepts and data warehousing principles
  • Knowledge of Oracle GoldenGate or other data replication technologies is a plus
  • Experience with Unix/Linux scripting (Shell, Python, etc.)
  • Understanding of database security, backup and recovery procedures
  • Ability to work with large datasets and optimize data workflows
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure) is desirable
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Oracle certifications such as Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate, Oracle Database Administrator Certified Professional
  • Experience with Big Data ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark) or cloud data services
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience working in Agile development environments
