Job Title:

High-Performance AI Compiler Engineer

Overview:

We are seeking an exceptional engineer to join our team working on the cutting-edge field of on-device AI inference acceleration.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and optimize the AI compiler stack and tools for efficient execution of state-of-the-art open-source and proprietary AI models on NPUs for on-device AI inference use-cases.
  • Transform high-level AI models into efficient, low-level code that can run on NPU, directly impacting performance, efficiency, and scalability of AI solutions.
  • Implement performance optimization opportunities through operator fusion at different memory hierarchy levels and design algorithms to optimally map given AI operations to the NPU.
  • Develop highly optimized C++/intrinsic based kernels for AI-related operators and leverage SIMD and VLIW for optimal performance.
  • Perform thorough testing and validation of model layers, identifying and alleviating performance/accuracy bottlenecks.
  • Efficiently communicate technical work and document design specs, adhering to good coding practices and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Exceptional C/C++ and Python coding skills.
  • Strong understanding of SIMD, VLIW processor architecture, and vectorized programming (SIMD).
  • Thorough knowledge of fixed and floating-point arithmetic, various operators in state-of-the-art AI models, and low-level hardware details.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, especially on debug, with a passion for on-device AI.
  • Prior experience in AI compiler design is highly preferred.
