Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Lead with expertise in data warehousing, ETL testing, and data migration.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical skills combined with leadership qualities to guide junior engineers, ensure best practices, and deliver high-quality data solutions.

  • Lead and support testing efforts for ETL processes, data warehousing, and data migrations with a focus on Snowflake
  • Design, develop, and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for data validation and quality assurance
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Perform data analysis, reconciliation, and validation between source and target systems

Responsibilities:

  • Developing data quality frameworks for Athena's environments
  • Validating data completeness, transformations, and client workflows
  • Performing row-level and aggregated data validations across datasets
  • Supporting data governance, auditing, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project milestones
  • Staying up-to-date with new testing tools and strategies
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in ETL/DWH testing, with at least 2+ years working on Snowflake
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data migrations, and ETL workflows
  • Proficiency in SQL with ability to write complex queries for data validation and analysis
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS)
  • Strong knowledge of data quality, data governance, and reconciliation testing
  • Experience with test automation for DWH/ETL projects is an advantage
