Business Intelligence Specialist - Oracle EPM Role Overview

This role requires a minimum of 4 years of experience working with clients, and involves designing, configuring, and deploying Oracle EPM solutions for Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Consolidation modules.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Oracle EPM Cloud (Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting, Financial Consolidation & Close, Enterprise Data Management).

Key responsibilities include implementation and configuration, solution development, stakeholder collaboration, system support and optimization, and documentation and training.

Required skills and qualifications include core expertise in Oracle EPM Cloud, technical proficiency in data integrations between EPM and ERP/other systems, and business and functional knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting processes.

  • Implementation & Configuration:
    • Design, configure, and deploy Oracle EPM solutions for Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Consolidation modules.
    • Customize applications, business rules, and calculation scripts to meet organizational needs.
  • Solution Development:
    • Develop dashboards, reports, and analytics to provide actionable financial insights.
    • Automate manual financial processes to increase accuracy and efficiency.
    • Ensure system configurations align with finance and business requirements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Work with finance, operations, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
    • Partner with business users to optimize budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • System Support & Optimization:
    • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues in Oracle EPM applications.
    • Perform upgrades, patches, and enhancements to maintain system stability and performance.
    • Ensure compliance with data governance, controls, and security standards.
  • Documentation & Training:
    • Prepare system documentation, user guides, and training materials.
    • Conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users to promote adoption of EPM tools.
