Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our development squad, you will play a pivotal role in designing and building cutting-edge software solutions for complex financial and risk problems.

As a Software Development Engineer on this project, you will lead the design and implementation of scalable systems that support our financial products. You will work closely with a talented team of software engineers, product managers, and UX designers to deliver high-quality applications that meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop multi-tier distributed software applications that meet the requirements of functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, and adherence to development goals and principles.
- Estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and rollout system changes that meet requirements for functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, and adherence to development goals and principles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver complex changes and independently design code and test major features.

About the Role:
- This is a full-stack development role that involves owning internally and externally facing UI stacks as well as multiple services.
- We invest heavily in automation in both testing and deployment to reduce time to market and scale our operations.
- We allocate time for learning and experimentation through learning days and hackathons and provide opportunities to work alongside senior engineers.

Requirements:
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
