Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced software developer to work on a project for one of our clients in the banking industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving digital products and technology services for clients and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply software engineering practices, including feature development, automated testing, and deployment.
  • Ensure solution quality, security, reliability, and compliance by applying digital principles and implementing requirements.
  • Build observability into solutions, monitor production health, and resolve incidents.
  • Understand client needs and advocate for them.
  • Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues and contribute to internal communities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent, focusing on code development and maintenance.
  • 8+ years of experience in a similar position, focused on Core banking integration area, in a development role.
  • Strong communication skills and good knowledge of Java and relevant Java tech stack.
  • Awareness of 'Clean Code' practices and ability to design Unit, Integration, and Functional tests.
  • API first design and understanding of modern architecture and design patterns.
