Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain high-quality software applications.

About the Role
  • Designing and developing new features and functionality in web-based software applications.
  • Maintaining and enhancing existing features to ensure they meet evolving customer needs.
  • Testing and deploying code to ensure it is stable, efficient and meets required standards.
  • Creating back-end components using Ruby on Rails and other relevant technologies.
  • Integrating user-facing elements to create seamless user experiences.
  • Designing user interactions on web pages to ensure they are intuitive and visually appealing.
  • Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile devices to provide consistent performance.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in web-based software development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Experience working with Ruby on Rails and ability to write clean Ruby code.
  • Proficiency with code versioning tools like Bitbucket, Git, Github.
  • Familiarity with MVC, REST, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3 and Bootstrap framework.
  • Familiarity with database technology and SQL programming (we use MySQL).
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools (we use Jira, Scrum).
  • Proficient with Linux distributions like Ubuntu.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with frameworks like AngularJS, Angular, React.
  • Experience with web servers like Apache, Nginx.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (we use AWS).
  • Experience in developing and maintaining APIs.
