Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data pipelines using AWS services.

Your key results areas will include:

  • Designing and developing spark jobs using Scala for new project requirements.
  • Enhancing existing spark jobs for ongoing product enhancements.
  • Performance tuning of spark jobs, stress testing etc.
  • Creating new data pipelines for developed/enhanced spark jobs using AWS Lambda or Apache Airflow.
  • Responsible for database design process, logical design, physical design, star schema, snowflake schema etc.
  • Analyzing data processing, integration, modelling and reporting requirements & Defining data loading strategies considering volume, data types, frequency and analytics specifications.
  • Ensuring optimal balance between cost and performance.
