Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Engineer to join our team and play a key role in designing and implementing policies that safeguard sensitive business and customer data across multiple platforms. The successful candidate will have expertise in authorization platforms, data governance, and fine-grained access control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement authorization policies to enforce fine-grained data access controls.
  • Integrate access control solutions with CRM platforms, cloud data warehouses, APIs, reporting tools, and AI/ML models.
  • Support the rollout of region- and country-specific access rules, ensuring compliance with data protection requirements.
  • Collaborate with data, engineering, and business stakeholders to refine access policies and ensure alignment with governance standards.
  • Ensure data access governance supports privacy, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Work in Agile delivery environments using tools such as JIRA Cloud for execution and Align for planning.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with authorization platforms (e.g., PlainID or other policy-based access control solutions).
  • Strong background in data governance, access management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake).
  • Understanding of enterprise integrations (APIs, applications, notification systems, and reporting pipelines).
  • Experience working in Agile teams with JIRA Cloud and Align for project tracking and planning.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience implementing regional or country-specific data access policies in global enterprises.
  • Exposure to commerce or supply chain data governance.
  • Familiarity with security and authorization models such as RBAC, ABAC, and Zero Trust.
