Embedded Firmware Lead

You will have a significant impact by:

  • Leading the design and development of high-performance embedded firmware for various products, ensuring reliability.
  • Architecting and implementing firmware solutions for Linux-based systems and microcontrollers.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
  • Conducting code reviews, providing technical guidance, and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Developing and maintaining firmware development processes, standards, and best practices.
  • Troubleshooting complex firmware issues to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the team.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and utilizing relevant tools effectively.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking an experienced professional with:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field with 15-20 years of experience in embedded firmware development and leadership.
  • Extensive experience with Linux and microcontroller-based systems.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python.
  • Strong understanding of hardware-software integration and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
  • Experience with communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART, CAN).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proven experience leading multiple teams throughout your career.
  • Knowledge of compliance tools and practices in embedded systems.
  • Experience with wireless communication technologies (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi).
  • Experience working with cloud and Edge IoT systems like AWS, Azure Cloud, GCP etc.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices in embedded systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
