WordPress Development Professional

Our company is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented WordPress developer to join our remote team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for translating Figma designs into functional and visually appealing WordPress websites.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with WordPress development, including proficiency in themes, child themes, plugins, and custom post types. Additionally, the successful candidate will be skilled in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, and MySQL.

  • Translate Figma designs into responsive, cross-browser compatible, and true-to-design WordPress websites.
  • Collaborate with our team to discuss requirements, clarify tasks, and deliver on timelines.
  • Manage deployments, troubleshoot hosting/DNS/SSL issues, and ensure smooth launches.
  • Optimize websites for speed, accessibility, SEO, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Work with plugins, integrations, and occasional custom development (PHP/MySQL, APIs).
Requirements & Skills

Technical Expertise

  • Strong proficiency with WordPress development principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, and MySQL.
  • Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, or Gutenberg).
  • Deployment skills (staging → production, DNS, SSL, backups).
  • Familiarity with project management tools (Trello, Asana, ClickUp, or Jira).

Design & UX Awareness

  • Ability to translate Figma designs into clean, functional builds.
  • Basic understanding of UX principles and accessibility best practices.
  • Attention to detail — ensuring designs are implemented precisely.
