Agribusiness Leader

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our agribusiness initiatives in India. As a Vice President of Consulting - Agriculture, you will oversee the development and implementation of strategies to drive income growth for our growers and identify new business opportunities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical guidance and support to agricultural clients
  • Develop and implement agricultural services for farmers, including soil sampling and analysis
  • Design and conduct educational workshops to enhance knowledge and skills
  • Create crop budgeting and planning strategies to optimize yields
  • Collaborate with regional sales managers to provide information and education to technical sales advisors
  • Pursue new business development opportunities, considering legal structures
  • Manage finance, procurement, and digital transformation of the agronomy services division
Key Requirements:
  • Masters degree in agriculture or related field with 15+ years of experience
  • Solid foundation in agriculture subjects, including economics, policy, agribusiness, agronomy, extension, and market development
  • Familiarity with research integration and experience working with government officials, university staff, farmers, and other stakeholders
