Key Role in Pharmaceutical Procurement

Effective Procurement of APIs:

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely sourcing and cost control of APIs, while maintaining full regulatory compliance across the pharmaceutical supply chain.

Responsibilities:
  1. Sourcing APIs aligned with production forecasts and regulatory standards.
  2. Evaluating vendor capabilities, negotiating contracts, and building strategic partnerships to secure high-quality API supplies.
  3. Tracking market trends and price fluctuations for critical molecules to optimize procurement strategies.
  4. Ensuring material documentation aligns with FDA, WHO-GMP, and DCGI norms for seamless regulatory compliance.
  5. Coordinating with QA/QC and regulatory affairs for material verification to ensure consistency and quality.
  6. Optimizing inventory levels to avoid stockouts or overstocking by closely monitoring demand and supply patterns.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Science (B.Sc), or Engineering (BE) with specialization in pharmaceutical supply chain management.
  • At least 6 years of experience in API purchasing or sourcing, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong networking skills to build and maintain relationships with vendors across China, India, Europe, and other key regions.
  • Familiarity with SAP/ERP tools and international compliance frameworks to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
