Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Data or Business Analyst to join our data team.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in managing large-scale databases, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues.

  • Manage master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
  • Manage users and user roles.
  • Ensure the quality of imported data by collaborating with quality assurance analysts as needed.
  • Commission and decommission data sets.
  • Process confidential information according to guidelines.
  • Contribute to report development and analysis.
  • Design and manage the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
  • Support the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.
  • Promote data integrity and normalization initiatives.
  • Evaluate tests and implement new or upgraded software, providing strategic guidance on new systems.
  • Generate reports from single or multiple systems.
  • Troubleshoot the reporting database environment and reports.
  • Analyze changes and updates to source production systems.
  • Train end-users on new reports and dashboards.
  • Provide technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in computer science.
  • Work experience as a Data or Business Analyst or in a related field.
  • Able to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
  • Able to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
  • Able to translate business requirements into non-technical language.
  • High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with addressing and metadata standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
