We are looking for a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Tax Advisory Associate. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and research skills, excellent communication and drafting abilities, and a proactive approach to delivering solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of legal provisions related to indirect tax.
  • Draft advises, opinions, and compliance reports for clients.
  • Develop and deliver PowerPoint presentations for client meetings, trainings, and seminars.
  • Analyze client data to estimate tax impact on business transactions.
  • Build scenarios to identify the most tax-efficient business model.
  • Contribute to articles, monographs, and other knowledge management activities.
Client Service Delivery/Execution:
  • Proactively identify and discuss technical issues with clients while ensuring firm risk issues are addressed.
  • Handle tax matters, including preparation of submissions, replies to notices, appeals, and representation during meetings with tax authorities.
  • Manage multiple client relationships, assuming near-independent responsibility for smaller clients.
  • Develop relationships with middle-layer client managers.
Commercial Acumen:
  • Stay informed about firm-wide and competitor activities, as well as general business trends.
  • Apply this knowledge to deliver solutions to clients and add value to their businesses.
Networking and Opportunity Identification:
  • Identify new opportunities for existing clients and communicate them to managers.
  • Navigate internal networks to understand issues impacting clients.
  • Compile legal databases and contribute to study sessions, staying updated on the latest developments.
Strong Knowledge Base:
  • Stay current with the latest developments in tax and other laws.
  • Contribute to the firm's knowledge management activities.

The ideal candidate will hold a CA or Law degree from a reputable institution and have 0-2 years of post-qualification experience in indirect tax, preferably in litigation or advisory roles.
