**Job Title:** SENIOR TEA MAKER (Orthodox Tea Manufacturing)

Location: Ooty, Nilgris

Experience: Above 20 years in well-known Tea Estates. Should have experience in Orthodox Tea Factories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor tea processing machinery, including withering, rolling, oxidation, drying, packaging, and dispatching.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for each stage of tea production.
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that tea products meet established standards.
• Identify and address any deviations from quality specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Report any malfunctions or equipment issues promptly to maintenance staff.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in all aspects of tea processing.
• Report and address any safety concerns or hazards.
• Maintain cleanliness in the production area and equipment.
• Follow proper sanitation procedures to ensure the production of safe and hygienic tea products.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed to optimize production efficiency.
• Calibrate equipment to maintain product consistency.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, production volumes, and quality control measures.
• Provide production reports as required.
• Collaborate with other production team members to ensure smooth workflow.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team leaders.
• Participate in training programs to stay updated on machinery operation techniques.
• Assist in training new team members as needed.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
• Provide feedback on equipment performance and suggest improvements.
