Backend Software Engineer

Job Description:

As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable and efficient backend systems using AWS Lambda with Python. You will work closely with the DevOps team to implement infrastructure as code using AWS Serverless Framework / CloudFormation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality backend applications using Python and AWS Lambda
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable backend systems
  • Implement data storage solutions using NoSQL databases (DynamoDB) and relational databases (PostgreSQL)
  • Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and operation of backend systems
  • Participate in Agile development methodologies, including Scrum calls, stand-ups, and requirement discussions

Requirements:

  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with AWS Lambda
  • Knowledge of AWS Serverless Framework / CloudFormation and ability to implement infrastructure as code
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB) and relational databases (PostgreSQL)
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Certified AWS Developer or equivalent experience
