As a key contributor to Amazon's eCommerce Services Organization, you will be part of a dynamic team driving innovation in business systems integration. To achieve this goal, we are seeking software engineers who thrive on complex problems and relish the challenge of operating mission-critical systems under extreme loads. Your role will involve building, scaling, monitoring, and optimizing systems within our organization, ensuring seamless integration with various teams.

A successful candidate should possess strong verbal and written communication skills, be self-driven, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with your peers in a group of talented engineers, contributing to all aspects of the software development and deployment lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the team to drive business decisions
  • Designing, implementing, testing, deploying, and maintaining innovative software solutions
  • Ensuring a high standard of quality for all team deliverables using software engineering best practices
  • Writing high-quality distributed system software
  • Working in an agile, startup-like development environment where you will always be working on the most important tasks

Basic qualifications include:

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Preferred qualifications include:

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
