We are seeking a meticulous Editor to join our team, responsible for providing exceptional proofreading, copyediting, and fact-checking services for various assessments.

  • Provide accurate and timely proofreading, editing, and fact-checking services for diverse test-related content and materials across multiple subject areas
  • Ensure the application of styles and conventions to meet test specifications and maintain high-quality output
  • Understand and adhere to assessment development and editorial processes, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), to ensure seamless project execution
  • Utilize specialized test creation software in editing test items and materials with attention to detail and precision
  • Serve as a resource for assessment specialists and other staff on matters of grammar, style, and syntax, offering expert advice and guidance
  • Meet schedules with all departments and communicate needs and deadlines effectively, ensuring timely completion of tasks
  • Create program-specific checklists to ensure quality control and accuracy in all deliverables
  • Develop program-specific style guides for use by editorial, support, and content staff, promoting consistency and excellence
  • Collaborate fully in group meetings and engage in teamwork within the division, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Organize, track, and schedule workload to meet deadlines and requirements, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively

Maintain high ethical standards and comply with applicable laws and regulations, upholding the integrity and reputation of the organization.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in editing and proofreading, with a strong understanding of language and grammar rules
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a flexible and responsive approach
