Job Description

We are seeking a talented Long-form Video Scriptwriter to join our team. As a key member of our content creation team, you will be responsible for developing compelling and engaging scripts for long-form video content such as brand stories, documentaries, corporate films, YouTube shows, interviews, and explainer videos.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Research and write high-quality scripts for long-form video content (5–30 minutes).
  • Understand client objectives and tailor scripts to meet communication goals.
  • Create engaging storytelling arcs that hold audience attention throughout.
  • Collaborate with directors, editors, and designers to ensure scripts align with visual and audio elements.
  • Adapt writing style for different platforms.
  • Conduct research when needed to ensure authenticity and accuracy.
  • Revise and edit scripts based on feedback from clients and internal teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, English, or related field.
  • Proven experience in scriptwriting, particularly for long-form video content.
  • Strong storytelling, research, and writing skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex information into engaging narratives.
  • Familiarity with digital storytelling formats.
  • Excellent command over written English and creative thinking.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience writing for YouTube channels, podcasts, or branded web shows.
  • Understanding of SEO strategies.
  • Basic knowledge of video production and editing workflow.
