Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the high quality of our software products.

About the Role:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies to ensure that our software meets the highest standards of quality.
  • Analyze requirements and develop test plans to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and project managers to ensure that our software meets business needs.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to maintaining full test coverage.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to enhance testing capability and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with agile software development testing, reviewing user stories, acceptance criteria, and other available information to develop test plans and test scenarios.
  • Strong knowledge of database testing for relational databases, ETL/ELT data solutions, and reporting and analytics tools.
  • Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and determining the types of testing that must be conducted.
  • Experience creating automated scripts using Pytest for data validation and building test architecture and framework from ground up.
  • API testing experience using manual tools like Postman/swagger and automated tools like REST Assured/CURL.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a collaborative source-code repository system and Cloud services and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
  • Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
