Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Chemistry Expert to work on cutting-edge projects involving large language models. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Chemistry, comparable to the level required for engineering entrance exams, as well as graduate or PhD-level programs.

This role offers the opportunity to work on advanced chemistry problems, including those at the undergraduate and graduate level, and create detailed explanations. You'll regularly work with a mix of chemistry content—combining text with images, chemical equations, diagrams, and visual representations.

  • You would spend time solving complex chemistry problems, including organic reactions, equilibrium, stoichiometry, thermodynamics, and electrochemistry, typical of Engineering Entrance Exam or Engineering College level questions.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and explain the steps in complex organic reaction mechanisms, providing textual explanations and annotated chemical structures.
  • Solve problems involving chemical equilibrium, accompanied by visual representations of reaction progress and energy diagrams.
  • Address challenging problems involving stoichiometry, thermodynamics, organic chemistry, and electrochemistry, utilizing textual, visual, and diagrammatic explanations.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Candidates pursuing a Ph.D./Postdoctoral degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related field are eligible to apply.
  • Analytical Skills: Good research and analytical skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Creative Thinking: Creative and lateral thinking abilities are necessary to provide innovative solutions to complex chemistry problems.
  • Communication: Excellent structured communication and collaboration skills are required in a remote setting.
  • Independence: Self-motivated individuals who can work independently in a remote setting are preferred.
