The team is seeking an experienced professional with exceptional interpersonal and technical skills, including policy-based analysis, knowledge of trade, agricultural policies, and economics. The candidate should be able to drive and support the agenda of Agri and Allied Services practice of the firm both in India and globally and should have a deep technical understanding of the subject.
The Individual:
Should have 3-6 years of work experience, with exposure in any of the following:
Experience with MySQL and MSSQL
Basic understanding of disaster recovery and database backup procedures
Familiarity with reporting tools
PostgreSQL certification preferred
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and assistance
Certificate in Database Administration will be preferred
Responsibilities:
1. Installing and configuring database management systems (DBMS) software.
2. Creating and managing users and user roles with appropriate permissions.
3. Monitoring database performance and optimizing query execution for efficiency.
4. Ensuring data integrity and security through regular backups, data encryption, and access controls.
5. Planning and implementing database upgrades and patches.
6. Troubleshooting database issues and performing root cause analysis.
7. Collaborating with IT teams and developers to design and implement database solutions.
8. Developing and implementing data migration strategies when necessary.
9. Documenting database architecture, processes, and procedures.
10. Staying informed about industry trends and best practices related to database management
Should be good at report writing, data analysis, working on Excel and PowerPoint presentations with excellent communication skills.
Qualification:
- M.E./ M.Tech or B.E./ B.Tech. in Information Technology/Computer Science/ Electronics engineering or M.C.A.
