At DSM-Firmenich, we are seeking a skilled Tax Specialist to play a pivotal role in managing our tax compliance and strategy. As a key member of our tax team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of tax matters, including planning, compliance, and audit support.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Manage and ensure compliance with all direct and indirect tax laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors on tax planning and audit matters.
- Support tax litigations & assessments.
- Prepare and review tax calculations, returns (including withholding tax), and related documentation.
- Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on tax-related issues.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for tax optimization.

You Bring
- Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Indian tax laws (mainly direct tax). CA with 2+ years of experience.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex tax issues and develop effective solutions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in tax calculations and documentation.
- Communication Skills: Clear and concise communication to effectively convey tax concepts to stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Capacity to identify tax risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to achieve tax objectives.
