Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled software developer to design, develop and deploy innovative applications on the Mendix platform. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with business and technical teams to build scalable, secure and user-friendly solutions that integrate with APIs and cloud platforms.

You will participate in the entire development cycle, from defining requirements to implementing code and shipping products to production. Your expertise in low-code development tools and applications is crucial in extending reusable front-end components and back-end integration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Solution Development: Lead the development of our new advanced solution and provide expert maintenance for our current system.
  • Full Development Lifecycle: Participate in the complete development cycle, including defining requirements, designing solutions, implementing code, conducting unit tests and shipping products to production.
  • Technology & Frameworks: Help choose the right technologies and frameworks that will be used to build our system.
  • Delivery: Be responsible for delivering high-quality, production-ready code.
  • Extending Low-Code Development Tools: Extend low-code development tools and applications by coding reusable front-end components and back-end integration.
Requirements:
  • Mendix Expertise: 3+ years of experience in developing software using the Mendix platform.
  • Software Design: Thorough knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Object-Oriented Design (OOD).
  • Modern Practices: Experience with the latest version controls and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Agile Methodology: Proven experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Collaboration: A positive attitude and strong communication skills are a must.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong Skills In:

Java, JavaScript, REST APIs, databases and familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
