Product Design Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented professional to take on the role of Product Design Specialist. As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in creating innovative designs and products that balance functionality, aesthetics, and innovation.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop design solutions adhering to project objectives, customer requirements, sustainability standards, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Create and present design concepts through 2D sketches, 3D models, renderings, and physical prototypes.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and product development teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with technical requirements.
  • Lead design projects from concept to production, ensuring design quality, brand alignment, and timely delivery.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial design, Product Design, or Automotive/Engineering Design from a reputable institution.
  • 2-5 years of proven experience in Product Design with a strong portfolio of projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in taking products from concept to production.
  • Strong rendering and sketching skills, with the ability to visually communicate design ideas effectively.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other design visualization tools.
  • Strong 3D modeling skills in software such as Rhino 3D, Blender, SolidWorks, or Alias.
  • Proficiency in 3D rendering software such as KeyShot, VRED, or Unreal Engine.
  • Understanding of ergonomics, user experience, and sustainability-driven design principles.
  • Familiarity with prototyping, 3D scanning, and surface development is a plus.
