Geopolitical Risk Analyst Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Geopolitical Risk Analyst to join our team. As a GPRA, you will play a key role in providing research and analysis for in-depth reports on security events in the Americas region.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Political Science, Security Studies, Journalism, International Relations, or Area Studies, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for gathering information from multiple sources, monitoring security events, and developing actionable insights to inform business decisions.

Responsibilities:
  • Gather information from various sources, including news articles, government reports, and industry publications.
  • Monitor security events in the Americas region, identifying trends and patterns that may impact our clients' operations.
  • Develop comprehensive reports on these events, providing analysis and recommendations for mitigating risks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • High-level English proficiency, with knowledge of local dialects and additional languages an advantage.
  • Familiarity with social media and associated tools, with experience using data analytics software a plus.
