IT Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will oversee entire company IT infrastructure, setting up and maintaining office systems, networks, and security protocols. This includes planning, implementing, and managing company-wide IT infrastructure for optimal uptime, scalability, and performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, and manage company-wide IT infrastructure for optimal uptime, scalability, and performance.
  • Lead the complete IT setup for new office locations, including internet connectivity, LAN/WAN configurations, server and workstation installations, printer/scanner setup, and IT asset procurement.
  • Provide Level 1 & 2 support to internal users, manage tickets, and ensure timely resolution of hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Configure, monitor, and maintain network devices (routers, firewalls, switches) for secure and stable network connectivity across departments.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, ensure proper tracking, warranty renewals, AMC contracts, and periodic audits.
  • Collaborate with external vendors for procurement, AMC, ISP support, and managed services.
  • Evaluate and implement strict cybersecurity protocols, firewalls, antivirus, backup strategies, and data protection policies.
  • Manage installation, configuration, and updates of business software; monitor license usage and renewals.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of IT procedures, configurations, and issue resolution logs. Generate regular IT performance reports for management review.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field.
  • 5-10+ years of experience in related field.
  • Experience in information technology space and solving various software and hardware problems.
  • Strong technical problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+, MCSE, CCNA, or ITIL (preferred).
