Job Description

As a highly skilled IBM Sterling Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for the implementation, customization, development, and support of IBM Sterling solutions for our clients.

  • Lead the deployment and optimization of IBM Sterling OMS Systems, ensuring adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into system configurations and customizations.
  • Configure and customize IBM Sterling OMS software to meet specific client needs, including menu layouts, pricing, promotions, and integrations with other systems.
  • Conduct system testing and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy and functionality of IBM Sterling OMS solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IBM Sterling software, providing timely and effective support to clients.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IBM Sterling with other systems and processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Order Management (Sterling 9.1)

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in custom database extensions, user exits, agents, and building Web Services.
  • Minimum 2 years development experience in XML and DOM parser.
  • Minimum 5 years development experience in building web applications.
  • Experience building Stored Procedures and SQL functions.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or C++ for system customizations and integrations.
