Job Position: Quality Control Officer

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Quality Control Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for performing microbial analysis of raw materials, hold time samples, and finish products stability samples.

  • You will conduct microbial analysis of all types of water and prepare agar plates for environmental air monitoring in production areas, dispensing areas, sampling areas, and the microbiology laboratory.
  • In addition, you will operate and calibrate instruments used in the microbiology laboratory, including those used for microbial assays, antibiotic handling, vitamins handling, and temperature monitoring.
  • You will also compile raw data and complete routine sample analysis in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), prepare media as needed, and maintain log books and records of sterilization procedures.
  • Furthermore, you will handle and maintain documents and records related to routine work, prepare reports on time, and provide them to section managers for review and release.
  • Daily verification of instruments is also part of your responsibilities, as well as maintaining media and chemical reagents and checking their expiration dates.
  • You will monitor temperature, relative humidity, and differential pressure levels and perform fumigation of the microbiology laboratory as required.
  • Finally, you will ensure the proper cleaning of the micro lab, including all instruments, and maintain cleaning records or log books according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. A degree in Microbiology or a related field is preferred, along with relevant experience in quality control and assurance.
