Rolling Stock Product Development Manager

We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to oversee our Rolling Stock Engineering projects.
This individual will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating tasks assigned to the Engineering department, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
The successful candidate will have strong project management skills, with experience in rolling stock product development processes and cross-functional team leadership.
- Manage and coordinate all task assignments to Engineering relating to R&D projects.
- Ensure availability of required Engineering resources with department managers.
- Cost controlling & effort verification of Engineering activities in R&D and projects.
- Manage compliance statements to platform Requirements Specifications.
- Prepare platform documents for gate reviews.
- Coordinate Design-to-Cost activities in Engineering.
- Align activities with Technical Bid Managers for bid activities.
- Linkage between the rolling stock business Unit and Engineering Center India.
- Lead engineering deliverables to ensure quality, time, and cost.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience along with a graduate or postgraduate degree in Engineering.
- Expertise in rolling stock product development processes.
- Proven track record of driving cross-functional projects and tasks in complex environments.
- Strong influence and negotiation skills to drive decision-making across stakeholders.
