**Job Opportunity:** Maintenance Manager

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will support the facility's maintenance department, overseeing engineering, electrical, and civil maintenance activities. Key responsibilities include preventive maintenance planning, repair estimation, vendor performance monitoring, and safety inspections to ensure smooth operations.

Key Areas of Focus:
  • Preventive maintenance planning and execution
  • Supervision of equipment maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, and firefighting equipment
  • Vendor performance monitoring and maintenance material management
  • Compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
Responsibilities:
  1. Observe HTPL/Zircon management system provisions and contribute to continuous improvement
  2. Assist in preventive maintenance job planning and execution, including warranty jobs
  3. Supervise maintenance activities for equipment, ensuring timely completion and quality standards
  4. Manage spare part planning, monitoring, and technical confirmation
  5. Follow up on major breakdowns, repairs, and external party repairs
  6. Conduct safety inspections of equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards
  7. Create and implement preventive maintenance documents and schedules for equipment
  8. Maintain records for diesel consumption and tire efficiency of handling equipment
  9. Raise requisitions for spares
  10. Provide reports on maintenance activities, fuel usage, and electrical consumption
  11. Implement environmental management system procedures to reduce waste
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • A Master's degree in a relevant discipline or certifications in Maintenance Management/Facilities Management is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, and rail siding equipment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to plan and manage preventive maintenance and repair activities
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and complex written information
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and vendor coordination
  • Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations and their application to maintenance
