Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced backend developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our web applications using Laravel framework.

The role involves working on a range of tasks, including designing and implementing database systems, creating efficient and scalable code, and collaborating with other developers to achieve project goals.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement robust database systems using MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Develop high-quality, maintainable code in PHP, utilizing the Laravel framework and its associated tools.
  • Collaborate with other developers to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying new knowledge and skills to improve code quality and efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills:
  • PHP: Strong understanding of core concepts and ability to apply them effectively in real-world scenarios.
  • Laravel Framework: In-depth knowledge of MVC architecture, routes, controllers, models, migrations, and blade templates.
  • Database Management: Proficient in MySQL or PostgreSQL, with expertise in writing queries and understanding relationships (one-to-one, one-to-many, many-to-many).
  • Frontend Development: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and their integration with Laravel views.
  • REST APIs: Understanding of API consumption and creation, including principles of RESTful design.
  • Version Control: Experienced in Git/GitHub, with a solid grasp of essential commands like commit, push, pull, and branching.
  • Package Management: Knowledge of Composer and its application in managing dependencies in Laravel projects.
  • Debugging: Skilled in troubleshooting errors and utilizing Laravel's error logs for effective problem-solving.

Desirable Skills:

  • AJAX / jQuery: Experience in dynamic frontend interactions, enhancing user experience through responsive design.
  • Bootstrap / Tailwind CSS: Familiarity with styling and responsive design tools, enabling visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Authentication & Authorization: Understanding of Laravel's built-in auth system and its implementation.
  • Testing: Knowledge of PHPUnit and feature tests, allowing for thorough testing and validation of code.
  • MVC Understanding: General knowledge of Model-View-Controller architecture, not limited to Laravel-specific implementations.
