Environmental Conservation Educator Role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Environmental Conservation Educator. This key member will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that promote awareness of environmental and wildlife conservation issues.

• You will source and recruit volunteers through various techniques, including databases and social media platforms.
• Develop a comprehensive conservation education outreach strategy, planning and organizing events to promote environmental awareness.
• Collaborate with school conservation clubs to promote awareness of conservation through field trips, exchange visits, discussion groups, art competitions, essay writing, quizzes, and debates.
• Liaise with schools and other local organizations to foster strong relationships and ensure successful program implementation.
• Produce schedules for daily activities and assign responsibilities to team members for special events.
• Coordinate teams of volunteers for large-scale actions and inform groups about the natural wild environment through guided walks, events, and talks at our Elephant Conservation and Care Centre.
• Communicate frequently with volunteers to ensure they are satisfied and well-placed.
• Utilize marketing tools such as outreach programs, emails, and volunteer databases to raise awareness of environmental and wildlife conservation issues.
• Evaluate volunteers and support Outreach programs on environmentally significant days.
• Generate income via fundraising activities and volunteering programs.
• Disseminate information for upcoming actions and events.
• Implement a monitoring program to evaluate the impacts of the education program.
• Maintain detailed records of volunteers' information and assignments.
• Ensure the purpose and actions of the organization are clearly communicated.
• Present education-based presentations to schools for conservation engagement.
