Job Title: Cybersecurity Specialist for Embedded Systems

We are seeking an experienced cybersecurity specialist to join our team and lead the security aspect of architecture, design, implementation, and maintenance of embedded systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the system align with Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL), meeting internal and external cybersecurity standards, regulatory compliance, and customer needs.

About the Role

This position focuses on collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop secure coding practices, performing code reviews, and evaluating product and runtime cybersecurity issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded system development, experience with Linux, VxWorks/RTOS, and Windows, and proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with teams to develop secure coding practices and perform code reviews.
  • Evaluate and resolve product and runtime cybersecurity issues and related technical debt.
  • Manage and utilize tools for static and dynamic code analysis, software composition analysis, and BDBA/BDH findings.
Skill Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • 8-12 years' experience in embedded system development, including 5+ years of hands-on experience with multitask embedded systems running in Linux, VxWorks/RTOS, and Windows.
  • Strong programming skills with object-oriented design (C/C++) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, Shell, PowerShell).
  • Familiarity with Open-source software (OSS), Git, GitHub, Debian GNU/Linux, Ubuntu, and software composition analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and align best-in-class processes and coding standards.
