About Our Job
We are seeking a seasoned Automation Test Engineer with hands-on experience in Python to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who excels in a dynamic and collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality software through automated testing and continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of QA methodologies, test automation frameworks, and Agile processes, as well as excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment and contribute to the development of robust, comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts using Python.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application features and create effective test strategies.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance tests.
- Perform API testing and validate backend services using Python-based tools.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4+ years of total experience in Software QA, with at least 2 years of strong hands-on automation experience in Python.
- Strong understanding of QA processes, testing life cycle, and test methodologies.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks like PyTest, Robot Framework, Selenium (with Python).
- Solid experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, Requests library, REST Assured).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
