Procurement Specialist

Job Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced procurement specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of procurement related to equipment and supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing best-in-class sourcing strategies to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality equipment and supplies at optimal costs.
  • Identifying opportunities for cost reduction and implementing strategies to achieve savings targets.
  • Managing vendor relationships to secure preferential treatment and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
  • Resolving transactional issues related to local taxes, withholding taxes, and payment-related concerns.
  • Developing business continuity plans to mitigate potential risks and ensure uninterrupted supply and service.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
