Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Finance Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and subsidiary books.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.

  • Accounts Payable (AP):We are looking for someone who can process vendor invoices, obtain necessary approvals, and prepare payments in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile vendor statements:The ideal candidate will be able to resolve any discrepancies that may arise.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also:

  • Generate and issue invoices:You will be expected to monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with clients to ensure timely collections.
  • Process customer payments:Accurate application of payments to respective accounts is essential.

You will also perform daily/weekly/monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy between bank statements and company records.

Manage petty cash and reconcile cash transactions to prevent errors.

Accurately input financial data into accounting software and spreadsheets to maintain accurate records.

Assist in the preparation of various financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Support the finance team during month-end and year-end closing processes to meet deadlines.

Ensure adherence to internal financial policies, accounting standards, and relevant statutory regulations.

Maintain organized and complete financial documentation for audit purposes.

Assist with preparation for internal and external audits to ensure compliance.

Process employee expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies.

Provide general administrative support to the finance department as needed.
