Value Chain Expert Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead research and analysis of existing and potential value chains in two program sites.

About the Position:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing methodologies, conducting stakeholder consultations, and generating evidence-based insights to inform promotion strategies.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the approach for value chain scoping and analysis with a sustainability lens.
  • Identify essential stakeholder groups and develop robust field survey instruments.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and field surveys.
  • Lead technical discussions on prioritisation and analysis of value chains.
  • Draft and deliver high-quality technical reports, including value chain maps and sustainability analysis.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • Masters degree in Environmental Science, Forestry, Business Administration, or related field.
  • English & Hindi proficiency
  • 8 years of professional experience in sustainability, natural resources management and/or nature-based businesses; 5 years of experience in value chain analysis and promotion activities; at least 4 years of the total experience in projects in India.
