Software Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to ensure the quality of software products by developing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and focusing particularly on database testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software quality.
  • Conduct extensive database testing, including writing and executing SQL queries to validate data integrity, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and performance issues using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational software development and testing standards.
  • Analyze test results and provide clear, detailed reports on software performance and issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years in software testing experience (Freshers with strong knowledge are welcome).
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
  • Hands-on experience in manual testing, automation testing, and database testing.
  • Proficiency with bug tracking tools.
  • Good knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
