Job Title: Chief Financial Operations Officer

This is a senior leadership role that oversees the financial operations of an organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and management, with experience in leading teams and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the accounts payable department, B2B revenue, and AR, including vendor payments, collections, and reconciliation activities.
  • Owning the complete end-to-end AR/O2C Process.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, addressing billing or payment concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of accounts receivable clerks or specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Continuously review and improve accounts receivable processes, systems, and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Analysis - Revenue and AR:
  • Implement and enforce effective credit and collections policies to ensure timely payment from customers.
  • Monitor cash flow by analyzing accounts receivable aging reports, identifying potential risks, and developing strategies to minimize bad debt and maximize cash collections.
  • Identify any potential revenue leakage, margin monitoring, etc., and implement processes to bridge gaps.
Reporting KPIs:
  • Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports, metrics, and KPIs for management and financial reporting purposes.
  • Publish various dashboards for Management, including ageing reports, old provisioning, revenue, growth, cash flows, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal control policies related to Accounts Receivable and credit management.
  • Suggest accounting for new business transactions in line with applicable accounting standards.
  • Liaise with auditors on timely closure of audits for revenue, AR & Collections.
  • Prepare the monthly MIS after closing books of account on a timely basis.
  • Prepare quarterly and yearly financials as per Ind-AS. Will also be involved in quarterly Limited Reviews. Manage IPO process.
  • Drive automation for revenue and receipts transactions with coordination with business team and tech team based on finance requirements.
  • Responsible for monthly balance sheet schedules, including GL to Sub-GL reconciliation with ageing, etc.

Requirements: CA with 4-6 years of work experience in B2B setup. Candidates with Big 4 experience will be preferred. Experience in IFRS/Ind-AS is a must. Strong analytical skills and a data-driven decision-making mentality are required.
