Governance Risk Compliance Expert

About the Role

At our organization, we are seeking a highly motivated Deputy Manager to strengthen our governance and control frameworks while ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish, review, and enhance governance frameworks, policies, and procedures in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure policies are clearly communicated, implemented, and adhered to across business units.
  • Design and implement enterprise-wide risk management frameworks covering operational, financial, regulatory, and reputational risks.
  • Conduct periodic risk assessments, scenario analysis, and mitigation planning.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors, regulators, and legal teams to maintain transparency and trust.
  • Maintain compliance dashboards and risk registers for leadership review.
  • Act as a bridge between our organization and regulatory authorities, ensuring proactive engagement and resolution of issues.
Requirements

We are looking for an experienced professional with:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Law, or related field.
  • 6-10 years of experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance within financial services, fintech, or BFSI sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements relevant to NBFCs, financial services, or rural banking.
  • Skilled in compliance audits, risk assessments, and policy development.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a structured approach to risk and compliance.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
