Job Title: Expert in Dam Break Analysis and Emergency Planning

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our efforts in dam break analysis and emergency planning. The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, hydraulic or hydrology, and experience with advanced modeling tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training programs for dam safety and emergency planning
  • Conduct capacity building programs for government agencies and other stakeholders
  • Lead the preparation of Tier-I documents following international best practices
  • Provide technical support for the development of Emergency Action Plans (EAPs)
  • Facilitate stakeholder consultation meetings and review plans presented by project teams

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • At least 15 years of experience in hydrological and hydraulic modeling
  • Strong knowledge of MIKE, HEC_HMS, and other relevant modeling tools
  • Experience in preparing dam break analysis and inundation mappings for large dam projects
