Job Overview

As a Senior Oracle DBA, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Oracle databases. This includes installing, upgrading, and patching databases on multiple platforms, implementing backup and recovery strategies, and administering data guard for high availability and disaster recovery.

About the Job

This position requires a highly experienced IT specialist with a strong background in Oracle database administration. You will be responsible for monitoring database performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing tuning strategies to optimize database performance. Additionally, you will troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance problems, connectivity issues, and data corruption.

Main Responsibilities

- Implement and manage database backup and recovery strategies
- Administer Oracle Data Guard for high availability and disaster recovery
- Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement tuning strategies
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues

Key Skills

To excel in this role, you will need:

- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database Administration (11g, 12c, and 19c)
- Experience with database migration, installation, upgrades, and patching
- Strong knowledge of database backup and recovery concepts
- Strong operations focus on Oracle RAC databases
