We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Finance Manager III, GFS Services FP&A at Amazon Music. This critical position involves leading our workforce capacity planning team and driving the development of forecasting models to support headcount needs for close to 180 different services. As a key member of our organization, you will partner with Amazon Finance Operations team to understand E2E business process and develop forecast models to support headcount needs for our Worldwide Finance Operations teams and global stakeholders.
As a strategic leader, you will be responsible for analyzing historical data and demand forecasts, building out headcount planning models for future growth, and mitigating capacity risks by managing dependencies across multiple operational teams and sites. The successful candidate will also have experience with project management, leading medium and large-scale projects, and actively participating in strategic initiatives and special projects.
The ideal candidate must have 8+ years of tax, finance, or related analytical field experience, 6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience, and 5+ years of directly managing and leading a team of 5+ members experience. Strong English language oral and written skills, advanced proficiency with spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel), and working knowledge of reporting tools like Anaplan, Tableau, Power BI, QuickSight, etc. are also required.
