Job Title: Senior iOS Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior iOS Developer to join our mobile app development team at RoundCircle. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our iOS applications.

About the Role:

As a Senior iOS Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional mobile experiences. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing native iOS applications that are user-friendly, performant, and adhere to best practices.
  • Collaborating with designers and product managers to implement visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces.

Technical Leadership:

  • Providing technical guidance and leadership to junior iOS engineers, conducting code reviews, and mentoring team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • iOS App Development: Lead the development of native iOS applications, ensuring they are user-friendly, performant, and adhere to best practices.
  • Collaborate with designers and product managers to implement visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior iOS engineers, conducting code reviews, and mentoring team members.
  • Architecture and Design: Collaborate with architects and designers to define the architecture and user experience of iOS applications.
  • Code Quality: Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to coding standards.
  • Promote a culture of clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Integration and APIs: Integrate with backend services and third-party APIs to enable robust and dynamic app features.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimize app performance for various iOS devices and OS versions.
  • Security: Implement security best practices to protect user data and application integrity.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to define and refine app requirements and features.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, API documentation, and code documentation.
  • Troubleshooting: Investigate and troubleshoot issues reported by users, providing timely resolutions.
  • Stay Current: Stay up-to-date with the latest iOS development trends, tools, and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an iOS Developer or Senior iOS Developer, with a strong background in iOS app development.
  • Strong programming skills in Swift and Objective-C.
  • Experience with iOS app development tools and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of iOS design patterns and best practices.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration of third-party services.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development tools.
  • Strong understanding of mobile app security best practices and common vulnerabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and influence team members.
  • Knowledge of app distribution, including the App Store submission and updates.
  • Knowledge of mobile app testing and automation is a plus.

Salary: ₹1,500,000 - ₹2,500,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
